Agapanthus, commonly known also as African Lily or Lily of the Nile. A seasonal summer flower, grown for their showy blooms, commonly in shades of blue and purple, but also white and pink. The spherical flower head is made up of a cluster of small six-petaled funnel shaped blooms atop a tall, smooth leafless stem.
With its globe shape mass of trumpet like flowers, agapanthus is perfect for contempory floral design. Ever popular and versatile, they look great used alone or mixed with other blooms and can be broken down for adding to wedding designs.
