Sunflower
Sunflowers, (Helianthus), are a genus of the Asteraceae family and are native to North America. Known as sunflowers because the large yellow flower heads resemble the sun and the flowers twist to follow the sun from east to west during the day time.
Sunflowers are generally thought of as a ‘happy flower’ and never fail to bring cheer wherever they are on display. With strong, towering stems and vibrant shades, sunflowers create a big impact even from a distance. They make an impressive and sunny choice for indoor arrangements and have a long vase life.
